The Monarch at Henderson invites you to an evening of compassionate learning and support with a special presentation by a speaker from the Alzheimer’s Association. This event is an opportunity to gain valuable insights into Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related conditions, helping you better understand these challenges and how to navigate them with care and empathy.

During this event session, you will learn: 

  • The Impact of Alzheimer’s: Understand how Alzheimer’s affects the brain and daily life. 
  • Alzheimer’s vs. Dementia: Learn the differences between Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. 
  • Stages and Risk Factors: Gain knowledge on the progression of the disease and potential risk factors. 
  • Current Research and Treatments: Explore the latest advancements in research and available treatments. 

If you’re concerned that your loved one might need help or if you’re seeking guidance, this event offers a compassionate space to learn and connect with others who understand your journey. Our dedicated team will also be available to answer questions and provide insight into our wellness philosophy at The Monarch at Henderson.

Additionally, we offer monthly support groups on the last Thursday of every month from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. These sessions provide ongoing support, offering a safe space to share experiences, receive guidance, and connect with others who are navigating similar challenges. It is not necessary to RSVP, but feel free to sign up on our Support Group page.
